Primary 1 Enrolment for August 2012

If you wish to enrol your child for a P1 place at Blackhall Primary in August 2012, then we would like to invite you to contact the school office on 336 1023 to arrange an enrolment appointment.  Please remember however, that we can only take applications from catchment families. If you live out of catchment, but would like to request a non catchment placement at Blackhall, then you should visit your catchment primary school to complete their forms and request a non catchment form.

You should bring your child's birth certificate, your council tax form and a utility bill with you .  We would be delighted to give you a tour of the school when you visit.

Thursday 29th September

The children and staff have had a fantastic last day with the last groups getting to do the Hillwalk and skiing ... and today was canoeing and kayaking. Tonight is DISCO time, so you can imagine the excitement ... but the dorms had to be tidied and bags semi packed first!!!

This website will be updated tomorrow morning with an expected time of arrival after the campers leave ... and will be updated again as they pass Perth.

Wednesday 28th September

The Campers had a good night ... and the staff had to waken the children this morning!!!  They have had a fantastic day with fabulous weather ... which made skiing, gorge walking, bike rides, survival adventure and the HILLWALK even better!!  Tonight they have been doing activities "in the dark" and they have enjoyed birthday cake with the birthday boy!

Tuesday 27th September

P7 have had another great day at camp.  It started with SAUSAGE SANDWICHES  for breakfast (Cornflakes will never be the same!) followed by a day of Abseiling, Skiing, Bike Rides and Gorge Walks!  Dinner was Steak Pie or Haddock, with Sticky Toffee Pudding to follow (can you tell what the food is important to P7) and they are just away out to do the Nightline - working round a course blindfolded, relying on your teammates to guide you!!!  The weather has been a bit windy but everyone is happy ... including the staff!!!

Monday 26th September

The Campers arrived safely at lunchtime.  They have had lovely weather this afternon and enjoyed making their beds (!!!) and then went out for Activities with their Group Leaders - Walks and Climbing Walls.  They had some free time before Dinner and are away for a Scavenger Hunt this evening, followed by a DVD before bedtime!
